Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

djiindex participates in affiliate programs, including the DJI Affiliate Program. When you click a “Buy at DJI” link (or another outbound retailer link) on this site and complete a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is identical whether you reach the retailer through our link or directly.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells the destination retailer that you arrived from djiindex. If you make a qualifying purchase within the retailer’s tracking window, the retailer pays djiindex a small commission as a referral fee. We do not see your name, address, payment method or order details — only that a sale was attributed to us.

How affiliate revenue affects what you see

It does not. Our editorial policy is unambiguous:

• Pricing comparisons are objective. Markets are ranked purely by total landed cost (price + tax − applicable refund), not by which retailer pays the highest commission.
• No paid placement. No product is artificially promoted, demoted or hidden because of an affiliate or advertising relationship.
• We will recommend non-affiliate options when they are better. If the cheapest legitimate option for a given user is a market or retailer we are not affiliated with, we will say so.

Programs we participate in

• DJI Affiliate Program — for purchases on store.dji.com and its regional subdomains.
• We may participate in additional affiliate programs (e.g. major retailer networks) over time. When we do, the relevant outbound links are tracked the same way and covered by this disclosure.

Where this disclosure applies

This disclosure covers every page on djiindex.com. By using the Site you acknowledge that any outbound link to a retailer may be an affiliate link. Where space permits we also mark individual buttons and tables (e.g. with a small disclosure note near “Buy at DJI” calls to action).

Compliance notes

• U.S. (FTC) — this disclosure is intended to satisfy the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), which require “clear and conspicuous” disclosure of material connections.
• EU — meets disclosure obligations under the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC) and Directive (EU) 2019/2161 (the “Omnibus Directive”), including transparency on commercial intent and ranking parameters.
• UK — aligned with CMA guidance on hidden advertising and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
• DJI Affiliate Program rules — we comply with DJI’s program terms, including not bidding on DJI trademarks in paid search, not using cashback or coupon misrepresentations, not falsely implying partnership with DJI, and using only DJI-approved imagery and creative where applicable.

djiindex is not affiliated with, owned by, sponsored by or endorsed by DJI Technology Co., Ltd. Participation in DJI’s affiliate program is a standard commercial referral arrangement available to many publishers, and does not represent any editorial relationship.
