DJI gimbal prices in Japan

Is DJI cheaper in Japan? Usually not for gimbals: Japan's DJI store had the lowest price of 42 DJI stores for 4 of the 14 DJI gimbals it lists on 24 Oct 2026. 10 of them cost less in another country's DJI store after currency conversion. The biggest gap: Osmo Mobile 8 Advanced Tracking Combo, 23% less in Macau.

From 1 November 2026, Japan's tax-free shopping for visitors becomes a refund: goods are no longer tax-free at the till, and you claim the tax back after customs confirms the goods at departure, within 90 days of purchase. The shop, or a refund operator it uses, pays the refund; ask how before you buy (JNTO, National Tax Agency, checked 19 Oct 2026). Prices on this page are DJI online store prices including consumption tax. More in the tourist tax-refund guide.
