DJI Index checks the DJI store in Taiwan once a day, along with every other DJI online store it follows. The table below sets Taiwan’s price for popular DJI drones, cameras, gimbals and microphones against the cheapest DJI store, converted to US dollars or Indian rupees. Where Taiwan’s store is not the cheapest, the difference column shows how close it comes.

DJI's listed prices. Stock is checked once a day, only at the DJI store ranked cheapest for each variant, and shown with the date of that check; elsewhere stock not checked — check the store before buying.
The table is built from the store prices committed on the day this page was built, so it changes as DJI changes its prices. It covers DJI’s own online stores only: other shops in Taiwan set their own prices, and a VAT refund (below) is not included.
Every store’s price for one product is on its page, for example DJI Neo 2 or Osmo Action 6. Taiwan’s store by category starts at drones in Taiwan. For the stores nearby, see is DJI cheaper in Japan?, is DJI cheaper in South Korea? and buying DJI in Hong Kong and Macau.
Can a visitor order from DJI’s Taiwan store?
DJI says its orders can only be shipped to the country where the order is placed (DJI Store help: shipping). The Taiwan store’s shipping page adds that an order whose country differs from the delivery country cannot be changed and must be placed again on the store for the delivery country (DJI Taiwan store shipping page). Ordering online from it needs a delivery address in Taiwan.
VAT refunds for foreign travellers
Taiwan’s business tax, its VAT, is charged at 5% (National Taxation Bureau of Taipei: filing business tax returns). Travellers who entered on a foreign passport and stay no more than 183 days from arrival can claim it back on goods bought at shops in the refund scheme (Ministry of Finance: shopping tax refunds).
Purchases must total NT$2,000 including VAT or more at one authorised shop on the same day, and the goods must leave Taiwan within 90 days. Some shops refund small amounts on the spot, for same-day purchases of up to NT$48,000 including VAT (Taxation Administration: tax refund for foreign tourists).
The Ministry of Finance says travellers are charged a processing fee of 20% of the refundable VAT when they apply (Ministry of Finance: shopping tax refunds), so the refund is less than the full tax. Ask the shop how it pays the refund before you buy.
DJI Index found no DJI page saying that DJI’s Taiwan online store takes part in the refund scheme. The refund applies to what an authorised shop charges, so compare that shop’s own price, not the DJI store price in the table.
Flying a drone in Taiwan
Taiwan requires drones with a maximum takeoff weight of 250 g or more to be registered online and to carry the registration number, which is valid for two years. Drones under 2 kg need no operator certificate (Civil Aviation Administration: frequently asked questions).
Foreign pilots can apply to have their foreign drone registration, inspection or remote pilot licence validated (Civil Aviation Administration: drone portal). Drone flights are prohibited within prohibited and restricted areas (Civil Aviation Act, chapter 9-2), so check the official airspace map before you fly.
Warranty
DJI’s after-sales policy for Taiwan applies only to Taiwan; other countries and regions follow their local policy and law (DJI Taiwan after-sales service policy). DJI’s global policy says there is no global warranty: service is given in the region of purchase, and repair elsewhere may cost extra (DJI after-sales service policy). DJI Care Refresh must be bought in the same country or region as the product (DJI Care Refresh service terms). More in DJI China version vs global version.
Bringing it home
Your home country’s customs rules apply when you return, whatever Taiwan refunds. India, for example, prohibits importing drones outside narrow exceptions that need DGFT authorisation (DGFT Notification No. 54/2015-2020). See bringing DJI products into India and importing a DJI drone.
